Education Solution

Capture the teacher and the slide deck at the same time, record and stream them
Retrofit one classroom, reuse the design across the campus

Lecture capture fails when teachers stop using it

The more steps it takes to start, the faster it becomes shelfware

Four things schools report most often

  • Teacher and presentation are two feeds, and combining them needs either an operator or an expensive all-in-one
  • Recordings are huge and the server fills up before the term ends
  • Cross-campus sessions stutter, with audio drifting out of sync
  • Teachers plug and unplug cables before class, and one wrong port ruins the recording

Our approach

  • Capture every feed at once: the ZY-EH1304 takes four HDMI inputs — teacher, students, presentation
  • Record in H.265: about half the bitrate of H.264, so the same disk holds twice the hours
  • Standard streams out: RTSP and RTMP, so the existing platform pulls the feed with no migration
  • Wireless casting: the wireless presenter is plug-and-play and supports domestic operating systems

If a capture platform is already in place, leave step 4 alone. Our encoders publish standard streams that the platform pulls directly — no migration required.

FAQ

How large is one recorded lesson?

At 1080p and 2 Mbps, a 45-minute lesson is roughly 0.7 GB; the same quality in H.264 is about double. Real size depends on motion — record one lesson with a demo unit to see your actual bitrate.

Does the teacher have to operate anything?

Ideally not. We design for plug-in-and-record, with start and stop driven by the existing platform. Any workflow that needs the teacher to press buttons every lesson ends up unused.

Does it work with the platform we already have?

Yes. Encoders publish RTSP and RTMP, which mainstream capture and resource platforms pull directly. There is no need to replace the platform.

Do you supply cameras too?

No. Cameras, including auto-tracking models, come from third parties. We handle everything after the camera output: capture, encoding, transport and recording. That keeps your camera choice open.
