SDI fiber transport and IP playout

Solution Overview

Split the chain in two. Inside the building, 3G-SDI optical transceivers carry uncompressed 1080p60 over single-mode fiber — 20 km standard, up to 80 km custom — with negligible latency because no codec sits in the path. Once the signal leaves the building for IPTV or network distribution, H.265 encoders cut the bitrate to roughly half of H.264. Broadcast-grade HDMI/SDI conversion and 1U card-frame chassis complete the chain.
